While this may look like a well maintained 986 Boxster, it really is quite more. Hidden in the engine compartment is a 3.4 liter 996 motor producing 300+ horsepower. At about 14,000 miles, this Boxster's stock 2.5 liter motor completely self-destructed. It was sold sans an engine, and with the notion of this being a special project. A new 996 3.4 liter engine was sourced and painstakingly fitted the proper way with the necessary preventative upgrades from LN Engineering. PCA became interested in the project and did a 4 part documentation on it in their magazine, "Panormama." Factory options include Power Seat Package w/ Lumbar Support, Hi-Fi Sound System, Onboard Computer, Air Deflector, Full Leather Package, and 17 inch wheels with Porsche crests. A Boxster S external oil cooler and B & M short shift kit were added later during the project. A very unique, well maintained Boxster with plenty of power done the right way with Porsche OEM parts.
