Thanks again to everyone!
if you end up getting the black/orange thru the guys i mentioned.. drop me an email @ rijowysock@gmail.com to let me know where they are at on price.. i might get one too. and we can maybe both save a little doing a "double" deal.. i love the "halloween" ness of that piece.

when you email them, make sure to note 116000 model.. new series.. and copy a link to the picture or attatch as like u said there are quite a few dials and most not listed easy to find online. that will ensure you get what u want..

Go where I suggested. They have lots of inventory in stock which you can hold in your hands.

I've no need for protection against 1000 gauss', but I do like the look of the green sapphire crystal.

Have come close to buying one a few times.

I've been very happy with a stanless steel sub. I have on with black face and dial. Looks just as good with tee shirt and jeans as it does with a suit. I wear it daily and I'm in suits about 6 days per month, but jeans and t-shirts on the weekends with baseball cap. Only time I'd like something more dressed up would be when I'm in a tux, but this only happens once every few years.

Of the three you posted...I like the Milgauss. Second choice would be the Explorer.

I have no experience on whether you can negotiate a better price as my wife bought my GMT Master II.

I have an Air King, but it's a different style from the one you posted (mine has a silver face with black roman numerals at the hour markers). Not as busy, but a really sharp watch that I often wear to work

. I hear you. An unreadable watch is a curse. A friend had a 'crazy hours' Franck Muller .. When we'd be out and about, and there were a few drinks in, I got much fun by asking for the time several times a night and watching his eyes cross, brow furrow, etc. Example follows (12:59 to 1:00)

To be correctly dressed you should never wear a bracelet watch with a suit.

Please excuse my watch etiquete ignorance, but if I had a Daytona I would wear it to the shower

Actually the Daytona leather strap is my all-time favorite...so it would be ok if I wore it with a suit.
