Hi folks,

Requests for recommended general Service Shops in the Bay Area pop up on a regular basis. So I thought I'd compile a list of the ones I've seen mentioned in various posts on Rennlist or related Bay Area FB groups, to date.

And since the Bay Area is actually quite large (e.g. it's about 160 miles from Cloverdale in the north to Gilroy in the south), I've grouped them by region as follows:

Thanks for putting together the list! Two things: Portola Valley Garage is not North Bay. It's in the Peninsula north west-ish of Palo Alto. Carlen Porsche is in the Peninsula as well. It's in Redwood City which is north of Palo Alto.

I was using a simple San Mateo vs. Santa Clara counties as a delineator (out of laziness), but I've adjusted the grouping to be more specific as follows. And moved the other shops accordingly as well...

Peninsula - San Mateo County, and into Santa Clara County as far as Mountain View
South Bay - Santa Clara County, below Mountain View

I've a habit of using the old names (e.g. it'll always be Sears Point to me). But I rejiggered the names to include both the current names, and the old names as well (e.g. Rector, Sonnen, etc.).
