For Jiuyang owners, good news - it just arrived in Santa Marta -5:15am Pacific. It looks like two tug boats are pushing it to its berth.

Assuming it’ll be there for a day or so to unload cars, refuel and let the crew stretch their legs, next milestone: Panama Canal and the tranquil Pacific ocean! I looked at an older Glovis schedule where it listed Panama Canal as a stop, it shows -04/12 - 04/13 ETA.

Getting closer!

@Marin Vizsla I was awake as well at 5:30 watching this go down on Vesselfinder. Let's hope for a quick turn at Santa Marta and an uneventful transit through the Panama Canal.

The schedule from Panama to San Diego is 8 days and from San Diego to Benicia is 7 days. I wonder if port scheduling is locking in those dates.

I see Glovis Companion is parked in the SF Bay waiting to dock in Benicia. I am checking Vesselfinder for the arrival schedule and I don't see Glovis Companion on the arrival list let alone Jiuyang BlossomI. The Vesselfinder arrival schedule for Benicia is only listing the dates from April 15th through 21st I hope Jiuyang Blossom does not have to park and wait long.

Please keep up the good work on tracking them as I have goodies sitting in Glovis Companion & Glovis Cosmos.

Glovis Cosmos is heading into San Diego after spinning a doughnut in the Pacific:

@Marin Vizsla Thanks for all the information. I am one of the folks waiting for an upcoming San Diego delivery.

Let’s hope my C2S, as well as others, gets on the Poseidon Leader. Latest schedule from NYK website follows.

Another early riser! My car is Benicia bound on Jiuyang so I agree 7 days between SD and Benicia seems kind of long. I'm thinking two days? Maybe the crew plans on some R&R while in SD? Selfishly speaking, I hope Glovis added a lot of buffer in those 7 days and it arrives in Benicia earlier than 04/26. Since some of us are in PNW, we have to wait for another couple of days for the trucks to transport the cars to Oregon and Washington. My local dealer delivery date is ~05/03.

Hoping for smooth sailing after Santa Marta!

Mine currently states May 4th. Would be amazing if delivery date was brought in a few days but I'm not banking on it lol.

My dealer is in Monterey CA (125 miles south) from Benicia. My delivery date is 5/4 as well. This date is 8 days post arrival in Benicia. I can only hope that it gets processed though the port and customs it a timely manner
Hopefully the truck ride is quick up to the PNW!

@Earle It'll be a nice drive back in your new car from Monterey to Sunnyvale ( except for that horrible stretch of traffic between Prunedale and Gilroy / near that Red Barn on weekends )!

Thanks @Marin Vizsla, I have several options to get home depending on the time of day and traffic. I am sure I am going to enjoy it either way! I even have a route that includes a lot of twisties (highway 156) if I am so inclined.

I see from VesselFinder that Glovis Companion is scheduled to dock in Benicia on 4/11 @ 7:45. It looks like Glovis Cosmos is waiting for a berth outside of San Diego. It was scheduled to dock 4/10 at 1300.

Ohhh... now the fun happens... hunting J.Blossom down via webcams through the Panama! Hopefully the line isn't too long to enter the locks.
And remember it has a new paint scheme:

You can say that again - that was an extremely quick stopover! Between 7 - 8 hours in duration. Did they only offload 10 cars? The crew barely had time to pick up a Big Gulp at the local Santa Marta 7-11 before heading out again. Better for us on the west coast, I guess.
