I have already had an electric car, 2023 BMW i4 Msport and while it was a beautiful car and had a lot going for it, it was boring. The driving experience didnt match the looks of the car. Worse than that was painful charging experience, less than claimed mileage, etc, etc, etc. Will be a long time before I go full EV again, however hybrid or PHEV, I will give that a go next. So thats a long answer to, not interested for at least the next 5 years or more. Maybe when they get solid state batteries that will solve some of these issues too. But even if everything about a 911 EV was perfect, without the real sound, something will always be missing

Wow! we have an i4 that I use as my Daily and I really like it. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. We have an abundance of Solar Panels on our home, so charging isn't an issue. In fact, not having to ever visit a gas station is a benefit. Managing its weight in a turn and the huge amount of available torque on a straight are not boring exercises. It is a very quick car, but it is also extremely quiet.

I could go for it in a Cayman.

Maybe 10 more years when my 911 gets old and outdated then I probably get an EV.

Its a great car, no doubt about it. My comments are aimed at the i4 but any EV. I am just not an EV person yet because of the lack of available chargers, range needs to be in the 400 at least and lack of sound. By comparison, we got my wife the 2022 4 series Gran Coupe, gas version and I just enjoy that more.
