DOT track tires for rain
What's the best DOT-marked tire for wet track conditions? Seems like Toyo R888 performs well in rain and low temperaures. Pirelli P Zero Rosso Corsa (or something to that effect...) also looks good based on soft rubber and the tread pattern. Nitto NT01?
The tires need to work well on dry track with air temps in the 70s as well.
I'm looking to run on 1 set of wheels instead of 2.

Kumho Ecsta V710. Works very well on dry and fair-to-good on cold and wet. Use your head and avoid accumulated pooling.
For rain requires Kumho Ecsta W710.

if you trailer your car and run on R6 - why not to get rain hoosiers?

Drifting
I ran fairly worn Star Specs in very wet conditions last Summer and they really amazed me as far as grip goes, although if i had the choice i would use RA1's strictly as rain tires !
This season i have new NT01's for dry conditions and i just ordered another set of Star Specs for wet conditions and every day driving.
Cheers !
