Default Tony Callas saved me $4000 and a giant headache

Chris Walrod and I were stumped by my car's mystery CEL/Misfire issues plaguing me for the past 5 months. We tried everything on the list and nothing worked. As a last resort, it was going to be engine-out for a new flywheel, etc.

Chris was hesitant with this because he wasn't convinced of the bad flywheel, but I was getting desperate. So Chris contacted Tony...

A few days at Callas Rennsport and all was well. Tony handed me a defective alternator belt (which we installed 2 months ago) and sent me on my way.

300 rev-limiter canyon miles later and no CEL.

Keep in mind, we could have done the big job and I would still have had a misfire CEL! We would never have suspected a brand new oem belt to be out of spec.

Cool.

Although kind of depressing about shoddy OEM belts. Quality control, eh.

I hear Callas is expensive. But it sounds like he is worth it! Glad it worked out.

Callas may be a little bit more than other shops, bit he's a scientist when it comes to these cars. He ran countless tests on my car to determine the real issue. Really, he could have told me anything and I would have gone with it.

He actually uses diagnostic equipment, experience, deductive reasoning, and honesty to get things done. My kind of guy. Zero witchcraft.
