Have done the following with no change.New MAF

Computers checked

Fuel pressure checked

Coil resistance checked

Ignition amps swopped

Cut out and running rough.

1988 S4 322,000 miles.

This happened awhile back, as I was turning into my drive the engine cut out, I tried to restart it, it would start and then cut out after a second.

I left it for awhile...

Now at 320,000, used twice a week, all the important bits work, normally go to West Palm Beach once a year 620 miles, interior is sun damaged, mostly stock....

I found this style easy reachable from the drivers side, $7 from Autozone etc.

If you don't need to keep it stock

I used a non OEM insulation from Whitney, 6x3 roll, enough to do the bonnet twice.
Fitted almost 10yrs ago, the foil is not quite as shiny now but other than that it seems fine.

Water leak, new one on me.

Been chasing a water leak for a few weeks, wasn't loosing much but as far as I could tell it was coming from the rear of the engine but couldn't see anything leaking, I could see some coolant drips...

Had the same problem on my 88S4, a lot of corrosion on the pipe and clamp, replaced with a good used item, can't remember if I reported it to the list.
