We have had them now in several vehicles. I especially like them in the '09 911 since the exterior mirrors are dimmed, in addition to the interior. This works very well if you are driving in traffic...

My 997.2S Cab delivered Mid December had badly misaligned left rear quarter window AND right front fender panel was in 3/16" from rocker panel!

Both problems quickly fixed by dealer...

Thanks for the info. This is what i figured - just like the Boxster. Well, maybe Porsche does make the clip for the 997 similar to the Boxster. I will check with my dealership parts folks.

Thanks for your responses. Maybe the 997 Cab passenger compartment detector IS enabled with the top down and that is why there is no need for a "clip".

Sold my '04 Boxster S 550 and have an '09 C2S Cab arriving at dealer next week :-)

Was wondering if Porsche makes a device for 997 Cabs similar to the red clip they made for Boxsters that enables...
