The factory make a C4 shortshift, its the same as C2 but you don't use the U section (exactly as shown in the FD link above)

Of course this means you have to modify your tunnel cover

My regularly tracked and sprinted C4 uses Brembo HP2000's front and rear. Excellent pads which are far superior to the factory Textars, and produce less dust residue than something like Hawk Blues.

Early cars had a different cover which had and expanding plastic inserts, and screws not bolts. As far as I am aware you can no longer buy the old style, and all new covers are the revised bolted ones
