btw, something to keep in mind with balance shafts - they spin at 2x crank speed, so a 8800 rpm engine would be spinning the balance shafts at 17,600 rpm!!

can’t be done! Basic geometry can’t be out smarted. The only way to cure the imbalance is to make the throw 0 - and that makes for a pretty crappy engine.

Just for the record - turbo and 86+ NA engines use the same block, crank and in some cases rods. You have to drill and tap the turbo oil feed hole in the left balance shaft if you use an NA block....
