It's been a long time since I messed with those...

It's been a long time since I messed with those but I think the pin slide into the end of the seal and that allows you to bend the end of the seal around an edge to hide it or secure it.

I hate sunroofs, they all become high maintenance, leaky, rattle traps eventually. I never use them anyway. I would certainly pay a premium for a car without one.
