Problem is high oil pressure, not low pressure so I do not understand how it can be resolved with thicker oil?
It might be different in colder areas but here in South Africa recommended oil is 0W40

If I remember correctly the same sensor measure oil temp and pressure...

I've read that some oil will leak out when you remove the old solenoid.
Can someone please tell me, is it just a but of oil or should I rather drain the engine oil before replacing the solenoid?...

Next on my list is the solenoid in the oil pump, it seem like an easy job too, if that does not work I will replace the oil...

It did previously stop halfway it I was standing to close to the car when opening, if I moved away it worked fine. Might have been coincidence?
