I forced some silicone seal into the gap between the metal frame and the glass 7 or 8 ago, it really tightened it up and got rid of squeaks. Not sure what you mean by trim piece.

I tried to find some a year or two ago with no luck. Has anyone found some or made them? Without them water can find its way into the electrics and that makes problems.

I've been getting a lot of vapor buildup inside the front turn signal lenses because the gaskets seem to have disappeared and the only way to get new ones is to buy a new lense. Probably not a huge...

Hard to clean the contacts points, they are not easy to get at but you can do it by drawing folded emery cloth through them and then cleaning them with a paper dipped in laquer thinner or some spray...
