All the German companies seem to use the same suppliers, it's why Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW all had crappy window regulators a few years ago. It's not a BMW fuel pump, just one from the same...

The Cayman and Boxster will continue their downward plunge. I'm amazed a former 944 owner like myself even has to ask - history has shown entry-level Porsches always depreciate much more than 911s,...

320hp and a limited slip! These address the two of the three chief issues I had with the Cayman S when comparing it to the BMW M Coupe. Not a chance I'd move to one now - my M Coupe is perfect now -...

I doubt anyone has any hard numbers, but I'd say it's a good bet that it wiill be prohibitively expensive to fix. There have been versions of active suspension since the 1960s and no matter the car,...

It was up on eBay as well, I think it sold via Buy It Now. People really seem to be catching on to what a good value the 996TT is - cars really seem to be moving quickly when they're well-priced....

Well, the Source of All Things Evil when it comes to Porsche values (Bruce Anderson) says average miles/year for a 911 is 7-9,000 miles, so for a 2001-2002 I figured I'd be looking for 42-54k. My...

I ran the carfax a while back. The first owner put on almost 80k miles and had the car until last year, iirc. It's still over-priced, imo - for a few grand more, you can find 996TTs with almost half...

I use 303 but I've also seen cars with Poorboys and it looks as good or better. Most of the professionals on Autopia seem to prefer the diluted Woolite formula mentioned above.
